Dr. Joseph Palumbo Transforms Smiles with Advanced Dental Care

Dr. Joseph Palumbo takes pride in leveraging his diverse clinical expertise to help patients achieve radiant, confident smiles. His compassionate, patient-focused approach ensures comfort, satisfaction, and exceptional results for everyone he treats. His academic credits include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, 1997
  • Completed an advanced residency in general dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY

He co-founded East Lyme Family & Cosmetic Dentistry with Dr. Yousuf in 2000. He has also earned a fellowship in dental implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

In addition, he has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry, NYC.

Dr. Palumbo remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental advancements through active involvement in:

  • International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology

  • American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation

Dr. Palumbo lives in Old Saybrook with his wife and four children, where he enjoys being part of the community he serves.
