Dr. Michael LaGuardia combines a rich educational background and years of experience to deliver exceptional dental care with a focus on prevention and patient well-being. He earned a degree in finance from St. John’s University, pursued a degree in biology at the New York Institute of Technology, and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Tufts University in 1999.

He entered private practice in 2007, specializing in family dentistry with a strong emphasis on preventive care. Now Dr. LaGuardia proudly serves patients in East Lyme, CT, where he offers compassionate and high-quality dental care.

He enjoys supporting his children’s activities, including his son’s hockey games and his daughter’s dance performances. He also loves staying active with hobbies like golf, travel, and physical fitness.

Fantastic office . New to area when I called the ladies were so so kind and welcoming . I had my first visit yesterday 10/29/2024 . When I arrived to the office I was greeted by the two front office people . They were so kind and welcoming . As I sat there I watched everyone who walked in and walked out was treated so kind with the upmost respect .Also the Doctor himself came out to get me , he stated “ he likes to do this to first time patients to build a relationship with us “! How awesome is this ! He was so great with me and helped me with my situation and before I left he let me know he would be in touch with me over my cell to check on me in a day or two to see if my issue has gotten better. I left the office with a smile on my face . This office is hand down a 10/10 . I feel very blessed to be a part of this office .I look forward to seeing them in the future . Carrie pleasantly scheduled me as a new patient with Dr Palumbo, because my prior dentist was out of network with my recent dental insurance policy that consequently provided minimal contribution. I canceled my prior plan, and instead subscribed to East Lyme Family Dentistry’s own annual discount plan. For a reasonable annual fee, it fully and immediately covers 2 exams with cleanings and any X-rays, and also provides an immediate 20% discount on any additional needed work such as fillings or crowns. Dr Palumbo and Brianna immediately took care of a filling with an unusually genial, gentle, and pleasantly unhurried manner. Their calmly relaxed and careful way made me also feel more relaxed throughout it.
